Musical Horizon’s Summer Camp

Over 150 children enjoyed a fun-filled week of music, art and film at our annual Musical Horizon’s Summer School in Summerhill College last week. Young musicians aged 7-15 had the opportunity to try new instruments, improve their technical skills and play in large ensembles and groups. They also got the creative juices flowing with composition, art and film classes. Parents were treated to a celebratory finale show under the baton of musical director Niamh Crowley on the Friday where one of the highlights was the original song ‘Love you Like a Lollipop’ performed by our Junior Songwriting class.
